combination of Horde an IMP???

can someone tell me which versions of HORDE and IMP can be used together
WITHOUT changing dozens of variables,functions and other source-code? I
tried Horde version 1.3.4 together with IMP version 2.3.6 but there are
a lot of broken references to variables and functions named differently
in the HORDE / IMP source-code.
Sure I could make the changes manually but this will take quite a lot of
time and probably only last until the next update of horde / imp...
