after-effects of *.po file editing

i get a very strange behavior when I edit the fr.po files to make custom
changes, and add missing translations from the latest imp 2.3.7-CVS...

after typing 'make', I dont get any error message, but when I access the
Bmain page of the GUI, both language (en + fr) get mixed-up ... what is
causing this ?

I wish to know if there is a specific synthax to follow to edit the
message translation ... Maybe this is my error here. Also, after running
msgmerge, I got a couple of 'fuzzy' translations ... What does this means
anyway ?


ex:

#, fuzzy
msgid " - $nm new message"
msgstr "Vous avez 1 nouveau message."

or

#, fuzzy, c-format
msgid "Download %s"
msgstr "Téléchargement"
