Horde alone wouldn't help you very much as it is just an application
framework. If you want to use IMP, you'll need the imap extension.

If you get the latest tarball from ftp://ftp.cac.washington.edu/imap/ you
can run 'make lsu' to build the c-client for a suse distribution.
