Hi,
I am having trouble installing horde with IMAP support on Suse 7.3, using
Apache/1.3.19, php-4.2.3, mysql 3.23.42, OpenSSL 0.9.6a, imap-2002.RC10 (src
directory renamed /imap)
I configure php-4.2.3 using the following parameters:
./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-apxs --with-gettext
- --with-xml --with-mcrypt --with-imap-src=/home/meyrick/src/imap --enable-ftp
This configures smoothly - but fails to build a IMAP supported instance of php
- - at least according to horde.
In the screen readout during configuration the "Configuring extensions"
section reports the following:
checking for ICAP support... no
checking for iconv support... no
checking for IMAP support... no
This kinda hints not everything is going right...
I used to get nasty complaints about imap-ssl so I have also used
--with-imap-ssl=/usr/local/ssl . That did not produce any workable IMAP
either. There is no complaint when I direct to /home/meyrick/src/imap so I
assume its ok.
A decent search through FAQ & mailing list has not led to any clues. Any
suggestions?
Thanks in advance
