[horde] password no longer recognized

Hi,
I've been using Horde/Imp/Turba for a while with no problems, yesteday 
I ran some security updates to apache and now my password is not 
recognized by horde but I have no problem using a different mail client 
or logging in otherwise.

the horde/test/php script runs fine as do other php scripts I have 
running

apache 1.327
php 4.1.2
horde 2.0
imp 3.0
turba 1.1
