[horde] Virtual domains

If I look at the imp -> conf.php at the very bottom it looks like there is code that allows for virtual domain support.  I am using Cyrus and postfix with virtual domain support.  So far all works very well but login names are ugly username.domain.com.  while this scheme works it is not user friendly.  If there is a way for the user to type into their browser mail.mydomain.com and then come to a login screen that allow them to just enter username please enlighten me.

I am not trying to be lazy.... I will read whatever... just point me in the right direction.
