[horde] SMBAuth question

Hi,

i've downloaded a fresh snapshot of Horde and i want to use Horde together
with my Windows NT4 PDC and BDC for authentication, so i downloaded smbauth
and i have installed it. When i go to my horde login page i get the login
screen but when i try to login i get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: smbauth_validate() in
/usr/local/apache/htdocs/horde/lib/Auth/smb.php on line 104

I have also installed the smbauth commandline utility and when i use this
for validating a user is works ok. I have compiled smbauth as follows:

./configure --enable-commandline --enable-php --with-samba=samba-2.2.8a
make
make install

How can i make this work? All help will be greatly appreciated.

BTW, i'm running Slackware 9.
