Hmmm,

is it depending on the kind of ftp-server I am connecting to? ftp.horde.org
doesn't function but others do?

ftp.horde.org still gives me the errors I described before. What kind of ftp is
this? Same result if am testing it towards our Netware FTP, I guess you don't
use such weird thing.
