IMP Requires:
  * Horde
  * PHP w/ IMAP support

IMP Recommends, but does not require, that you have:
  * Sendmail or equivalent (for sending mail)
  * A database (mysql, postgresql, ldap, etc) for preferences, etc.
  * Turba (for address book)
  * Ispell or equivalent (for spell checking)

Horde Requires:
  * A web server (e.g. Apache)
  * PHP with gettext and xml support
  * PHP PEAR modules (inluding Log and Mail_Mime)

That really isn't that much (web server, php+PEAR, mail server is
all you really need).

Now, some of those may have their own dependencies, but there is nothing
Horde can do about that.
