[horde] HORDE CONFIGURATION QUESTION

I have Horde: 2.2.3 and PHP Version: 4.3.2 with IMP: 3.2.1.

In the horde.php file I have the following entries:

$conf['auth']['admins'] = array('mike at mydomain.com');
$conf['auth']['driver'] = 'imap';

To use imap as the authentication backend and to make mike at mydomain.com an 
administrator.  If I login as mike at mydomain.com, it lets me login fine, 
but I get no administrator rights.  
Also when I login it says at the top:  Welcome, 
mike at mydomain.com@mydomain.com instead of just Welcome, mike at mydomain.com 

Any ideas of what I am missing?
