[horde] FAILED LOGIN line 44 of "/usr/local/www/horde/login.php"

	:Does the FTP server log anything, at least a connection attemtp?

This is an attempt to log in via horde:

Aug 15 10:47:41 gateway ftpd[22008]: connection from gateway (10.0.0.1)
Aug 15 10:47:46 gateway HORDE[22003]: [horde] FAILED LOGIN for alex [203.5.217.4] to Horde [on line 44 of "/usr/local/www/horde/login.php"]


This is a log in via ftp:

Aug 15 10:47:53 gateway ftpd[22008]: FTP LOGIN FROM gateway as alex

Should it matter whether I am attempting to log in over the network and not directly from
'localhost'.

Can you suggest other things for me to try ?
