[horde] Apache eating alot of memory

Im running Apache_1.3.31 with Mod_SSL, Mysql 4.0.13 and Php 4.3.4.
On solaris 8 Sparc.
When i start apache with apachectl startssl, i notice this active
sockets.:

Ok.. it appear to be normal, but when i start to make some connections to
horde with SSL it create a new mysql sockets:

And when i close the session with the close sessio button, the sockets
dont be closed and they still are open.

And, i think the httpd servers keep that usage and its for that, they are
eating all of my memory..

Any idea of how fix this?
