[horde] PNG files (Alpha transparency)

It's great that Horde now supports png-files with alpha transparency.
No problem in Firefox and other Gecko browsers to show alpha 
transparency png-files but with MSIE there are too much delay :(
Too much so I can not accept it.

I could disable alpha transparency in Horde and MSIE starts to show 
pages like Firefox but that is not what I want.

Is there any other solution to support alpha transparency for MSIE than 
  Hordes way to support it?
