[horde] password non us-ascii characters problem

Hi,
I have latest stable Horde IMP Turba and Ingo installed.
IMP handles login. Some of my users has non us-ascii characters in their 
password and cannot login. If I change their password to something with 
only us-ascii characters they can.

What might be the problem?

All users are in the passwd file of the Linux Fedora core 2 system.

Other than that Horde ROCKS!
