[horde] IMAP authentication - can't log in

I just set up the Horde Framework - no apps yet.  I was able to get the 
configuration at first and then after I changed the settings to go to 
IMAP I can no longer log in.  I'm trying to use my normal Linux username 
and password that I use with my IMAP mail.  Any idea on where to look to 
solve this??
