[horde] Authentication problem when password contains an accent.

Hello,

Since some days, a user was unable to use Horde / IMP:

HORDE [error] [imp] FAILED LOGIN 10.0.0.6 to localhost:993[imap/ssl/novalidate-cert] as xxxxx [on line 247 of "/usr/local/www/horde/imp/lib/Auth/imp.php"]

We have found the cause of the problem: her password contained a french
"é". Without accent, everything is fine.

Is there some configuration options to allow accents in passwords?

Details:
- horde-3.0.5 & imp-4.0.3 on FreeBSD
- ['auth']['driver'] = 'application' and ['auth']['params']['app'] = 'imp'
- imap-uw-2004d,1 & cclient-2004d,1
- [CAPABILITY IMAP4REV1 LITERAL+ SASL-IR LOGIN-REFERRALS AUTH=PLAIN AUTH=LOGIN]
- the user can open a regular session.

Thanks.
