Hi,

I meet some troubles to upgrade PEAR packages.

I have a Debian Sarge on my linux box.
I've installed Debian packages for Apache (1.3.33-6sarge1) and PHP4
(4.3.10-16)
I've installed Horde 3.1.1 downloaded from Horde.org

Here is below my PEAR package list:
-----------------------------------
Archive_Tar 1.3.1 stable
Cache 1.5.4 stable
Console_Getopt 1.2 stable
DB 1.7.6 stable
Date 1.4.6 stable
File 1.2.2 stable
Fileinfo 1.0.3 stable
HTTP 1.4.0 stable
HTTP_Request 1.3.0 stable
Log 1.9.5 stable
Mail 1.1.10 stable
Mail_Mime 1.3.1 stable
Net_DIME 0.3 beta
Net_FTP 1.3.2 stable
Net_SMTP 1.2.6 stable
Net_Socket 1.0.6 stable
Net_URL 1.0.14 stable
PEAR 1.3.2 stable
Services_Weather 1.4.0 stable
XML_Parser 1.2.7 stable
XML_RPC 1.4.8 stable
XML_Serializer 0.18.0 beta
XML_Util 1.1.1 stable
json 1.2.1 stable
memcache 2.0.4 stable

I have two problems:

-1- pear upgrade PEAR
    downloading PEAR-1.4.9.tgz ...
    requires package `PEAR' >= 1.3.3
    PEAR: Dependencies failed
    --> ??? How to upgrade from 1.3.2 to 1.4.9 when 1.3.3 is required ?

-2- pear install Auth_SASL
    downloading Auth_SASL-1.0.2.tgz ...
No handlers for package.xml version 2.0
--> How to get rid of this annoying message ?

THank you for your help
Samuel
