Other possible variant that you (re)compiled PHP from source (as I don't know Fedora
version that comes with PHP 4.3.11, not FC4 at least). So now you have
2 broken PHP versions. Broken in configuration terms. Locate where
install script installed the framework and set that directory in you
include path in php.ini
