[horde] Horde 3.1.2/IMP 4.1.2+MySQL VFS attachment problems.

Hello (again)--

Apache 2.2.2
PHP 5.1.4 (SPARC/Solaris 32 bit gcc as a DSO)
MySQL v5.0.22 (serving as a VFS backend)
fileinfo.so v1.0.3 (loaded w/ php-apache.ini)

When I try and send a ~260k v1.4 PDF document via MySQL-backed VFS,
the remote user gets this error when attempting to download the file:

* With or without fileinfo.so loaded:
  finfo_buffer() expects parameter 2 to be string, object given in
  [removed]/horde-3.1/lib/Horde/MIME/Magic.php line 242

  Object of class PEAR_Error to string conversion in
  [removed]/horde-3.1/imp/attachment.php on line 120 Object id #18

I've tried other PDFs, .zip, .dll, etc. and cannot reproduce the error
that I get with this one particular file.  I'd normally write this
off, but I'm afraid if it has happened once, it'll probably happen
again (my Horde 3.1.2 system has only been live for a few weeks).

I'm curious to see if anyone has any insight on this issue.   I can
make the culprit PDF file available for testing if anyone desires to
do so.
