[horde] Login problems with Horde/IMP

Hi all,

Yesterday I'we installed fresh copy of Horde from yesterday's cvs
snapshots. Framework, Horde and IMP. Everything went fine, up to
the point where I should log in to the server. Situation is like this:
When I enter incorrect user credentials I get a message that it is not
correct. But when entering correct username and password I land in
the same login page, but without any message at all. In log files I see
as follows:
in apache error log there is nothing.
in systems auth log there is nothing, but I see that connections to IMAP
were made.
server's mail log:

horde.log shows:

When entering incorrect username and password pair I get as follows:
In apache's log there is:

those lines are repeated like 20 times.
In system's mail log I see:

Jul 20 09:10:20 server imapd[19068]: AUTHENTICATE LOGIN failure host=server.com 
[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]
repeated same 20 times

In system's auth log:
Jul 20 09:10:17 server imapd[19068]: Login failed user=baduser auth=baduser 
host=server.com [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]
also repeated.

System:
Slackware current, patched(adapted patch from wiki) UW-IMAP, slack's standard 
php with aded pear extensions. php 4.4.2. apache 1.3
