[horde] IMAP login failed

hi!

Jan 25 21:21:14 HORDE [error] [imp] FAILED LOGIN 88.64.142.122 to 
172.16.0.2:143[imap/notls] as user at host [on line 258 of 
"/var/www/htdocs/horde/imp/lib/Auth/imp.php"]


user at host is an email adress. With telnet from the webserver I can login 
with success on the imap server.

What can be wrong there?

The same problem with my imap/ssl server  and with imp/test.php
