Can you say more about this? What kind of custom code did you come up
with that is in the same problem domain?

Well, yes, because we've gone through a few generations of templating
styles. For Horde 4 and PHP 5 apps, the way to go is Horde_View, a
pretty simple view pattern with helpers.

It'd be great to get specific pointers here on what you find confusing
so we can fix it.
