Only if you want to run FRAMEWORK_3...which is the *stable* branch of  
the development tree.  FRAMEWORK_3 will not be affected by any of the  
moves to git.

you would use the -r FRAMEWORK_3 switch to the cvs command.

No...not if your using FW_3. Well, you could symlink them, but the  
directions given earlier were specifically for using HEAD (cvs/git)  
code.
