Exactly. For IMP it is only one single email account. The different  
folders on the side must be created manually and the incoming mail  
must be sorted into the corresponding folders using sieve. Otherwise  
all emails will end up in the inbound folder.

I usually always send out my email from one single account. After  
setting IMPs option $conf[server][server_list] to "shown", you may be  
able to select which server from servers.php you want to use. But I  
never tried that one and I have only one server in my configuration so  
I cannot try it at the moment.
As far as I know it is also possible to use the transport table in  
postfix to specify where a email should be send to depending on the  
email address. But I never tried that one either...

If you want to change the identity completely, including names,  
signatures etc. I think you need separated horde accounts.
