Jan,
As a sometime offender, I want to say first how much I really, really
appreciate the extraordinary work of the Horde team in producing the
best groupware at the best price. I use Horde to sync my iPhone every
day and it works beautifully overall.
I admit that on occasion I have reported problems without providing
enough information. I am also representative of that portion of your
userbase that is more enthusiast than specialist. Perhaps it would be
helpful to have a wiki entry (or a pointer if one exists) on what the
Horde developers' expectations are with respect to bug reporting. If
one or more of the developers were willing to provide some input and
answer questions, I would be willing to write a draft.
Please don't give up on your users!
Sincerely,
Bill Day
