This should actually not be necessary, because Groupware comes  
pre-configured for using SQL shares.
This is probably rather a follow-up error, from the warning in  
sources.php. From the error message it looks like  
$GLOBALS['conf']['sql'] is not set, and this could only happen if you  
didn't run setup.php. Did you?
