Following this thread with great interest, we have exactly the same 
problem. Our folks that could help find the problem are off for vacation 
but will put them to work when they return.

We are holding back the migration for this very reason.

What OS/PHP version etc. are you on? I see one thing we do have in 
common, Cyrus-IMAP, although ours is on another machine in on the same 
network.
