I think I have found the problem.

During the initial sync the winmob claims about one appointment 
(reoccuring) in the past that it cannot sync - but
you can ignore it and it pretend that the further syncs are fine. (As we 
know the syncs are not fine because you dont
get any new appointments)
If you delete the appointment before the initial sync than also new 
appointments are synced during the next syncs.
