Works fine here. At least with all Horde mailing list messages. Though
I  agree  that  black X in white rectangle probably need to be removed
completely.  I  personally  confused it with a button and clicked  on  X  instead of the text "click
here".

Oh and you probably could share a mailing list sample message which you think don't
work.
