[horde] I need help - Error: XML Parser support: No - The libxml version is too old. libxml 2.7 or later is required.

On CentOS 6 it´s

libxml Version    2.7.6

On CentOS 6 it´s php-xml 5.3.3

Anyway, I can´t see why upgrading just php using 3rd party repos would 
be less dangerous than upgrading the whole CentOS, since you can do it 
just by using yum...
