Not sure I can be of much more help myself. However, have you went into the database - that should have been setup during the webmail-install process - and ensured that you have a user account in the horde_users table? Whatever you specified when going through the webmail-install, it should have asked about database information. Horde stores user accounts in this database (or you might have not used a database). So whatever authentication mechanism you told Horde to use, you need to ensure that the username and password for the admin account is properly setup.
