[horde] unable to reset permission bits for ActiveSync

Hi *,

I just tried to change our permissions ("Rights") for ActiveSync. Up
to now, all accounts were permitted to do AS, but I wanted to restrict
this to specific users.

Original setting: "all logged in users" had the "permitted" checkbox checked.

I then added an individual user and saved - both permissions ("all
logged in" and "user1") were set.

I then added a second user, unchecked the first user's checkbox and
saved (which took me back to the "logged-in users" settings part),
unchecked the "logged-in users" checkbox and saved.

I then noticed that, despite the positive (green) response message,
the "logged-in users" permission checkbox was still checked - as was
the checkbox for user1 (as well as user2, of course). Trying to change
these bits individually didn't help either.

I had to use SQL to change the corresponding entry in the horde_perms
MySQL table to reset the unwanted permission bit and to remove that
extra user1. When, after doing the MySQL change, I reloaded the
ActiveSync permission page, the changes were reflected immediately.

Is this a bug, or maybe related to caching? Should I have taken
different steps to change the permissions? Searching the net and
bugs.horde.org (Horde Framework) didn't come up with a previous bug
report.

Regards,
Jens
