[horde] DAV not working

I did a fresh install of Horde. I also uninstalled the separate
SabreDAV before.
It seems to be a problem with the @ character in the DAV url.
My dovecot server uses the full email address as username.
I changed the horde auth from imp to sql and used "normal"
usernames. After that, DAV worked. But I was never been
able to connect to dovecot after that.
How to get rid of this problem?
