It sounds like the iPad is sending the full body text, but as a  
SMARTREPLY (which  by definition, means the server must append (or  
prepend) the original body text). Please post a sync log showing a  
reply that exhibits this behavior.

FWIW, I don't see this behavior on any of my devices.
