If some client IS hammering the system like this, this is *exactly*
why you want these sort of requests to be logged -- so you can figure
out how to fix the issue (or at least prevent that client from its
broken behavior).
Otherwise, you could theoretically have 1000's of clients hammering
your server improperly, and you'll be scratching your head why your
server is performing so slowly and there is nothing in the logs to
explain it.
