If you have access to your server keys you can configure wireshark to  
utilize them so you can see the unencrypted traffic.

Are there any errors in the horde log or web server log? Since it  
seems to be re-issuing the OPTIONS request, I'm thinking it doesn't  
like something in the response. What version of EAS are you configured  
to use?

I don't have access to Windows 8 so I cannot verify this one way or the other.
