Just as extra info, I'm writing this in the email client from 4.4 installed on a 4.2.2 device (both the exchange connector and email apks) and they appear to be working fine. Also I ran up a 4.4 stock android in the SDK emulator and that connected to Horde with no obvious problems.

Calendar, contacts, email all syncing and update Ok. Server side searching is the only thing I have found not to work at this point.

Email is version 6.0-893803.
