[horde] Suggestion and Feeback on default values

Agreed.  The only place it *might* make sense is for performance-based  
prefs - say, the number of results on a page.  But user  
interface/experience prefs are entirely personal preference (and this  
is the vast majority of preferences).  The default values in the  
distributed file are nothing more than placeholders since, after all,  
there needs to be some kind of default.  But the default values have  
no special meaning, and there should be no reason to allow the ability  
to "reset" to them - let alone informing the user that they are the  
default.
