Hi Mike
I've tested with Android 4.4.2 (Cyanogenmod) and Android 4.1.2.
I can't sync my calendar (I've only one) over activesync. Outlook 2013 works.
How we could fix it?

Android versions prior to 4.4 do not support multiple collections.
Though the ActiveSync library (tries) to sniff out the version and  
fallback to requesting multiplexed collections where all selected sync  
sources are combined into a single source when sent to the client.
Maybe this detection is not working for your device for some reason?
