[horde] VFS issue and systemd

This isn't really a horde problem, but I was hoping someone here had  
an answer. I am using Horde 5.2.1 on Fedora 20 and I want to use the  
local hard drive for the VFS. I was hoping to create a directory,  
perhaps in the home partition that would be backed up with the other  
home directories. Unfortunately, systemd seems to chroot apache so  
that the directories are created under a systemd directory in /tmp  
which does not have the space.

Has anyone dealt with that before? I have tried using SSH to  
localhost, but access is then pretty slow.
