Hello Jan,  I have tried to find error entries in various logs, except than
Snort blocking Google servers therefore screwing things up, I have not
found anything else except hundreds of error messages in /var/log/messages
all related to database:

I did upgrade the DB schemas when I installed horde.  Apparently the errors
are dating back a while....

I remember when I installed Horde I saw similar errors in the GUI in a red
tooltip popping up at the bottom...

What next?
