[horde] Active Sync and local client?

Mike,

Thanks for the reply. I thought about that — and I’ve got a little bit more info there.

When I use just IMAP, on this client, that is exactly the behaviour. When I close the client, it expunges. I can see this in Imp. Now you see me now you don’t type thing. I’ve tried exiting the client, and for AS it doesn’t seem to affect it?

Also, I did check on the client and disabled ‘store deleted messages on server’ to see if that might help. No change. I usually shut my computer down each night when I leave the office, and I notice I’ve got messages still on the phone that were removed from the desktop a week+ ago.

Thanks,

Tim

It seems like if I delete a message on an IMAP client (in this case Apple Mail.app), it remains on the phone (which is iOS 8.0). No matter what I do - exit Mail, etc, the mail remains on the phone. The only way to make it go away is to delete it on the phone too.
