> Restore to your last backup before the upgrade.

It was easy in the times of Horde4. Now, as by default Horde populates
various parts of the system, "last backup" means "last full system
backup" implying taking the system down totally.

My experiments with specific directory for horde, as described in
docs, were not successful, so I am living with the Horde "within" the
rest of the system.

Fortunately, there was pear's temporary directory from which it was
possible to decipher latest (latest for me) updates made to my
installation

In case someone goes to repeat what I did:

pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/horde-5.1.6.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/gollem-3.0.2.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/imp-6.1.7.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/ingo-3.1.4.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/kronolith-4.1.5.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/mnemo-4.1.3.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/turba-4.1.4.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/PHP_Archive-0.11.4.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Archive_Tar-1.3.11.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Console_Getopt-1.3.1.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Alarm-2.1.0.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Auth-2.1.2.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Autoloader-2.1.0.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Browser-2.0.6.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Crypt-2.4.1.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Css_Parser-1.0.4.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Date-2.0.8.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Dav-1.0.4.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Db-2.1.0.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Editor-2.0.4.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Form-2.0.7.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Group-2.0.3.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Http-2.0.5.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Imap_Client-2.19.1.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Mail-2.1.5.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Mime-2.3.0.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Queue-1.1.1.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_SessionHandler-2.2.4.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Share-2.0.5.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Stream-1.6.1.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Stream_Wrapper-2.1.0.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Timezone-1.0.5.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Url-2.2.2.tgz
pear upgrade -f --nodeps horde/Horde_Vfs-2.2.0.tgz

and - at least the mnemo databases need to be restored from the latest
backup before upgrade to 5.2.x.
Besides the listed ones there are some additional dependencies - I
tried to remove directories created at the time of update, but this
rendered Horde non-operational. I did not went as far as to decipher
which ones are "ham".

But, at least, I have my categorized notes back.

Janis
