[horde] wicked: no links with Umlaut possible

following combination:
wicked 2.0.3 / Default markup language / Text_Wiki 1.2.1

Sounds a bit like http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=7320 or  
http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=5953...

http://pear.php.net/package/Text_Wiki/redirected says that Text_Wiki  
is unmaintained, the 1.2.1 release is from 2010. There seems to be a  
newer version here: https://github.com/pear/Text_Wiki
It has quite some commits since 2010, but I'm unaware of its status.

Other than that, I don't know how to get around that.
