I honestly haven't tried that yet. When there is no OST file involved it should work. The problem with online mode is, that it doesn't feel like the ordinary outlook experience people are used to for years. The other downside is that it consumes too much data volume if you are on a mobile connection with a limited data plan, because there is no caching.
