[horde] Problem: Show groups I am not in, but not all

I have some fancy problem in a horde installation: There is a clutter of
groups, each of which is relevant to some part of the user base.

Users don't want to see all groups.
However, users don't want to be part of all groups they want to see.

Does not go well with the current group model.

a) user expectation is broken / usage is wrong

Make sure users see/access the right shares and don't worry about the
groups themselves

b)

Develop some additional groups provider with some "can see" feature
downstream and see if it is of upstream interest or not.
