[i18n] problem with english language

Hi

 I have some problem with english language. I want to use IMP in 
different languages and it works perfectly until someone logs in using 
english as prefered language. Afterwards language become 'unstable' 
for each user. The language is switching between english and the 
users' prefered language and I have to restart the webserver to make 
it work again. Can anybody tell me why?
