[i18n] "Quoting" not being translated, workaround ?

Because it is specially handled.

Not true.

Beside that translation.php is written in PHP and not in Bash, the problem
has nothing to do with this script at all.
The default prefs are loaded *before* the users prefs are retrieved from the
prefs backend. Thus, the language is not set when prefs.php is loaded. The
fix is to call the gettext function again where this pref is actually used.
A patch to fix this would be great.
