[i18n] Problems with translations

The only one thing changed in the new menu.inc file is that strings are
not like _("Compose") but _("_Compose"). Like I understood _Compose
means that the C letter will be inderlined in the HTML code. Because of this
slash it doesn't find translation in the existing po/mo files. As this slash
is
interpreted by some funcionts it should be possible to make application to
seek for translation of the string without underlined symbol? Should it be
easyer than rewrite ALL translation files?

P.S. The fastest way that I found to make it work was to change all the
strings
in the menu.inc file (I am talking about IMP) from those _("_Compose") to
_("Compose").
