[i18n] Thai translation for IMP

Hi,

 

Have just installed the latest versions of Horde and IMP on Fedora Core 4.
Everything works fine for both English and Thai except when reading mail
sent from yahoo or hotmail - neither of these are converted to readable
Thai.  Testing as per IMP document reveals the following:

 

1. Locale th_TH is installed.

 

2. I have located the .mo files in /usr/share/locale/th/LC_MESSAGES

 

3.  gettext works for some languages but not for Thai.

 

Eg.  Strings /bin/tar | grep memory       returns   memory exhausted

 

And  (LANG=nl_NL; LANGUAGE=nl_NL; LC_MESSAGES=nl_NL; gettext /bin/tar
"memory exhausted" )    returns    Geheugen uitgeput

 

However,  (LANG=th_TH;LANGUAGE=th_TH; LC_MESSAGES=th_TH; gettext /bin/tar
"memory exhausted"   returns   memory exhausted.

 

 

Any hints/help appreciated.
